OUR STORY

Hey, I'm Katie and I run That Blonde Stitch!
I have alway been fashion obsessed, so I bought my first sewing machine in Lockdown 2020, and here I am now! The Blonde Stitch team is currently me, myself - as well as a baby stitch as I gave birth to my first son in 2025. Currently all items are handmade from my studio in the North West of England.

That Blonde Stitch launched in 2020 selling handmade womenswear & accessories that focusses on high quality and creating unique pieces you will want to wear time & time again. Items that can be dressed up, dressed down & worn across many years and seasons.

I appeared on season 1 of ITV1's TV show; M&S: Dress The Nation - a fashion design show where 10 contestants compete each week in various design related challenges. I am so proud to say I reached the final! Being a part of the show was incredible, and really challenged my sewing & design skills, from having to design & sew lingerie, kidswear, menswear, and sportswear all in really strict time constraints. I met some incredible people, and recevied great feedback; from Rosie Huntington Whiteley wanting to wear my pyjama set, to Mel B saying she would fight over the summer dress I designed. The skills & confidence I gained from the show has allowed me to continue pushing Blonde Stitch to become an established home for unique, high quality womens fashion.
